Before breakfast, we took a stroll near the Akan lake to have a good view of the lake itself. According to the tour guide, this river will freeze during winter. However, as the temperature wasn't low enough, the Akan river had not froze completely. There's only a thin layer of ice on the face of the lake.

This day is all about travelling. We had a 5.5 hrs bus ride to Sapparo City. Shopping would all be in the afternoon.

(My favourite pic -- This was taken during a toilet break. It's cold but I still stood there to take the pic.)

(My lunch- salmon, pork, prawn and bean spouts. Quite nice meal.)
After reaching the Sapparo City at around 3 plus, we went to market to buy dried scallops , and then to another shop to buy the Ishiya white chocolate cookies and other souvenirs. The shop was really small and crowded, but there were a lot of people grabbing boxes and boxes of the chocolate.
After buying the souvenirs, we were given around 2.5 hrs at the Odori Park and the underground shopping mall.

Dinner is a bbq buffet which is similar to Seoul Garden.
