We arrived at Narita airport and had to travel to Haneda airport for our domestic flight to Chitose, Hokkaido's aiport. As our flight was at 12 noon, the local guide has bought bento for us. But we found that it's rather troublesome to carry the bento around and as a result, we ate the bento at around 10am..

I find the bento very beautiful but it's not very delicious. I guess the special part is the red bean rice. I prefer the white rice though.

When we reached Hokkaido, it's already close to 2.30/3pm in the afternoon. We rushed off to our lst destination as it was going to get dark soon since it's winter period. We were in time for the last show of the day in a replica of the traditional Shiraoi Ainu house.

During the show, we got to know that the traditional Ainu ladies had tattooes even on their mouth area to scare away the monster. It's a 10 year process as the ladies had to wait for their skin to recover before the next tattoo.
